- Translate credit risk strategies and portfolio findings into actionable policy criteria, underwriting rules, approval authorities, and monitoring thresholds.
- Review policy proposals, data analyses, and impact assessments prepared by team members before submission to the line manager for approval.
- Digitalization & Automation: Coordinate the implementation of policy rules across credit operational flows, from onboarding and underwriting to approval; identify opportunities to reduce manual work, improve controls, and enhance customer experience.
- Scorecard & Model Integration: Work with Modeling, Data, and IT teams to deploy and monitor credit, fraud, and other predictive scorecards; review policy and model logic and coordinate user acceptance testing before production implementation.
- Risk Rule Engine Oversight: Supervise the design, testing, implementation, and ongoing monitoring of risk rules for auto-decisioning. Use SQL and Python to validate logic, assess impact, and recommend timely adjustments.
- Digital Product & Alternative Data Evaluation: Assess product proposals, partner API initiatives, and alternative data use cases from a credit risk perspective, and recommend appropriate controls and monitoring plans.
- Team Supervision & Coaching: Allocate work, review deliverables, monitor progress, and coach team members in credit policy, data analysis, and the implementation of policy rules into operational systems.
- Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Act as the day-to-day Risk Policy contact in company projects and provide consistent, proportionate credit risk advice to relevant stakeholders.
- Coordinate with Business, Operations, IT, Data Science, Modeling, and partners to resolve policy- or system-related issues and ensure the continuity of automated credit flows.
- Regulatory Compliance: Monitor regulatory changes, update internal policies and procedures, and support reporting or responses to the State Bank of Vietnam, auditors, and other relevant parties.
- Other tasks assigned by the line manager.
