Finance Head  (Work-based: Khanh Hoa)

1. Budgeting:

• Coordinates with SMBIL Head Office for the operating and financial assumptions, directions, and timetable
• Prepares timetable for SMBVL based on the SMBIL timetable
• Disseminates financial assumptions to department managers
• Coordinates submission of departmental budgets to Finance HCM office
• Coordinates the budget review with General Director
• Prepares presentation materials for CFO and GD
• Prepares the necessary financial analysis
• Budget vs. previous year
• Projected profitability based on various alternatives
• Prepares final budget for submission to SMBIL

2. Monthly Financial Statement Variance Analysis:

• Receives actual financial statements from general accounting
• Encodes / download to “Budget Program”
• Actual vs. Budget
• Analyze variances
• Coordinates with department concerned for the reasons of variances
• Prepares summary of variance explanations
• Prepares reports to CFO / GD

3. Analysis of Financial Statements:

• Prepares profitability analysis
• Per product
• Per area
• Return on Fund Employed “ROFE”
• Cash flow

4. Presentation of Financial Reports and Analysis:

• Coordinates time availability of GD / CFO for MOR
• Prepares memo for monthly review to be signed by GD
• Prepares presentation materials
• Profit and Loss
• Balance Sheet

Yêu Cầu Công Việc

1. Education:

• Bachelor's/University degree in Finance/Accounting or equivalent training in business

2. Work Experience:

• At least five (6) or more years’ experience in the areas of finance/accounting with at least 2 years in similar position, preferably in multinational companies

3. Skills required:

• Knowledge of relevant Vietnamese accounting system and generally accepted business practices
• Effective English oral and written communication skills
• Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel
• Personnel management skill
