Ensure compliance with all Vietnamese tax laws, including corporate income tax (CIT), value-added tax (VAT), personal income tax (PIT), and other applicable taxes.
Prepare and file tax returns and reports in accordance with local tax regulations.
Stay updated on new tax laws, policies, and regulations and implement changes as necessary.
Provide tax planning and advisory services to minimize tax liabilities while ensuring compliance with the law.
Prepare tax forecasts and assist in managing tax audits and investigations conducted by tax authorities.
Liaise with tax authorities on various tax matters, responding to inquiries and resolving any issues that arise.
2. Financial Statement Preparation:
Assist in the preparation and review of financial statements in accordance with Vietnamese accounting standards (VAS) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), where applicable.
Work closely with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements.
Ensure all tax-related entries are accurately reflected in the financial statements.
3. Audit and Compliance:
Coordinate with external auditors during financial audits, providing necessary documents and clarifications as required.
Support the audit process by ensuring compliance with both internal financial policies and external statutory requirements.
Collaborate with auditors to finalize audit reports and address any audit findings related to tax and financial compliance.
4. Data Entry and Support:
Assist in supporting accounting entries related to tax and other financial transactions.
Work with the accounting team to ensure that all transactions are correctly recorded and that financial data is accurate and up to date.
Review accounting records to identify any discrepancies and ensure tax filings align with financial data.
5. Financial Liaison and Consultation:
Act as the main point of contact for internal departments and external stakeholders regarding tax and financial matters.
Provide financial insights and tax advice to senior management to help drive business decisions.
Assist in budgeting and financial forecasting, focusing on the tax implications of business strategies.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or relevant certification is a plus).
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in tax accounting, with a deep knowledge of Vietnamese tax regulations.
Proficiency in Vietnamese Accounting Standards (VAS) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
Experience in preparing tax returns, financial statements, and managing audits.
Strong analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for interactions with tax authorities, auditors, and management.
Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
