Job Description 2: Helpdesk Technician
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide technical support for hardware and software issues.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Address power and network-related problems.
• Maintain and repair computer hardware and peripherals.
• Assist users with IT-related queries and provide excellent customer service.
• Document and track issues and resolutions in a ticketing system.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operation of the IT department.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Solve problems with DNC and MES stations in a manufacturing environment.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
• Experience with network troubleshooting and power management.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Patience and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Experience with IT ticketing systems is a plus.
• Education level: College degree or higher, major related to IT
• Technical Proficiency: Candidates must possess top-tier technical skills relevant to their roles.
• Team Collaboration: The ability to work effectively within a team environment is essential.
• Communication Skills: Strong written English communication skills are necessary to ensure clear and effective interactions. (*Good verbal English communication is a bonus, but not necessary)
