The Mechanical Engineer is responsible for designing, improving, and maintaining mechanical systems and equipment within the manufacturing facility. The role ensures the reliability, efficiency, and safety of equipment and processes while supporting production goals and cost optimization. The Mechanical Engineer also acts as a liaison between R&D and production teams to ensure seamless integration of new designs, technologies, and processes.
Design, analyze, and improve mechanical systems, components, and equipment to meet production and quality requirements.
Collaborate with the R&D team to translate product designs into manufacturable solutions.
Oversee the maintenance and repair of mechanical systems to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.
Troubleshoot mechanical issues, analyze root causes, and implement effective solutions.
Lead the implementation of new equipment, technologies, and automation systems to enhance production efficiency.
Manage mechanical engineering projects, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
Work closely with production, quality, sourcing, and other departments to align engineering efforts with operational goals.
Act as a technical consultant to cross-functional teams, providing expertise to improve manufacturing processes.
Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, and productivity enhancement through lean manufacturing principles.
Evaluate and recommend modifications to existing designs and processes to improve efficiency and performance.
Ensure all mechanical systems and operations comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and environmental requirements.
Promote a safe work environment by implementing preventative measures and conducting risk assessments.
Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to source, evaluate, and integrate new materials, technologies, and equipment.
Maintain accurate records of designs, modifications, maintenance activities, and process improvements.
Prepare reports and presentations to communicate engineering activities and results to stakeholders.

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Fluently communicate in English
Hard skills:
Proven experience in mechanical engineering within a manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles, equipment maintenance, and troubleshooting techniques.
Familiarity with CAD and Solidwork software and other engineering tools.
