1. Be responsible for the coverage activities plan, display activities plan, outstanding visibility activities plan at targeted outlets and channels for Canned Foods/ Pet Foods/ Foods Category. Responsible for implementing the distribution & display plan to achieve the following goals: coverage (wide & deep), presence (number of shops & quality presence – space share) for current products & new project.
2. Formulate specific brand strategies and business/marketing plans consistent with overall category strategies
3. Develop the channel trade promotions for different types of Canned Foods/Pet Foods/Foods Category, channel as business strategy and approved budget. Develop promotions of Foods products, distribution channels, and customers according to the marketing & sale strategy according to the allocated budget.
4. Coordinate and motivate the parties concerned for smooth and effective execution of the planned marketing program within the set deadline
5. Monitor the market with the specific attention on product’s distribution, display, off-take, pricing, product’s condition, to propose appropriate corrective measures
6. Keep up with the economical market situation and competitive activities and propose proper counter action activities if necessary
7. Initiate concept development for new products and continuously identify market opportunities and propose new product development within the company’s objectives & resources, to serve the market need
8. Monitor progress in product launches; identify task success, program setbacks and failures, capture learning for future improvements
9. Work in liaison with advertising agency for proper development of advertising strategy and effectively plan and execute advertising program to achieve the marketing objectives
10. Be conscious of company and division expense and cost, and try to optimize all kinds of expenditures
11. Propose the product cost saving whenever the opportunity arises
12. Effectively plan the production requirement and the consequent optimum inventory level
13. Do the Sales forecast and channel activities to reach the business objectives. Develop sales forecasts based on market demand, Marketing & sale sales support plan, company revenue goals.
14. Prepare the Trade show, Distributor conference, Trade & channel events. Prepare conferences, sales points, sales support tools in new launch projects.
1. Degree in Marketing / Business Adminitration / Advertising or related field.
2. At least 7-10 years’ experience in marketing or related field (FMCG is preferable)
3. Preferably from a multinational organization (regional or global presence)
4. Good creative, interpersonal, negotiation, and compromising skills
5. Good planning and management skill.
6. Good analytical, problem-solving skills
7. Good knowledge of written and spoken English
