Production Manager

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

- Production operations according to his plan is delivered. Assign, supervise and guide workers in the factory to ensure timely and quality requirements. Managing the entire machinery, materials and finished products, finished products and goods in the factory management.

- Supervises workers on an assigned shift to ensure the manufacture of products, parts, this position is typically the first level of supervision. Subordinates are unskilled. Work is characterized by conveyor assembly lines and manual work methods requiring very limited training. May have up to 200 employee.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

1. Production planning, work organization in technological processes, orders and plans are delivered.

- Planning for production based on the master plan requirements.
Implementing production planning, organization assigning daily work to ensure that lines the optimal use of machinery and labor.

- Urge check the production line in accordance with the technological process, ensure quality and progress of the request.

- Shall be dealing with material planning & scheduling with Fabric/trims stores.

- Follow up of average of fabric for cutting Department.

- Make T&A plan, Co-ordinate and supervise, optimum output, Plan and set lines.

2. Management and staff development.

- Review identified the need, quantity, quality personnel, recruitment proposals, review probation workers.

- Training, coaching and guiding staff.

- Encourage, remind and reward recommendations based on results of work of employees and the company's regulations.

3. Maintaining and managing the system of quality standards, to reduce the rate of product defects, increase efficient use of materials, machinery and manpower.

- Responsible for production process development and technology for custom apparel decorating production line.

- Research and make recommendations for equipment, software and technologies that will best meet the needs of the project.

- Advise management of developments which may affect profit, schedule and costs

- The main responsibility of a production manager is to ensure that the entire production process runs smoothly and cost effective

- Analyzing the work resources

- Keeping track of the production capacity and allocation of machinery

- Monitoring of production cost

- Monitoring of production timescales

- Monitor the production quality standards

- Inspection with QA department and buying house.

4. Organization of implementation, maintenance and repair of machinery, general report on equipment and machinery at the plant, the proposed procurement and repair.

- Urging the implementation of maintenance and repair of equipment to improve productivity. Records management equipment.

- Prepare reports for management, irregular work and progress of the plant individuals.

- Advise on purchasing of production machinery

- Keep up with the latest production technologies

Decision making authority:

- Is given the authority to make decision and solve problems within production line only, or may consult with Operations Manager, General Director in case of need.

Working relationship:

Internal relationship:

- Communicate with other supervisors within the factory.

- External relationship: non.

Reporting relationships:

- Supervise team leaders and workers in production line.

Experiences and Qualification:

-       Sex: Male - Female

-       Age: above 30

-       University degree / college Production Managers, Technical

-       At least four or five years working experience as Supervisor in a garment factory

-       Have good knowledge in production process and garment product, data capture materials in the garment industry.

Skill:

-       Good command of English written and spoken.

-       Professional Written report, proposal and event planning

-       Have good knowledge in production process and garment product, data capture materials in the garment industry.

-       An in-depth knowledge and experience of handling minimum 200 machines on sewing, cutting, assembly, packing & QC line.

-       Production Management and Quality Management waterproof (PVC, Nylon, PU, Polyester) garments, with min of cotton, knit wear garments, soft luggage in a reputed export brand name for motorcycle accessories industry.

-       Good technical and analytical skill.

-       Good leadership and motivation skill.

-       Proficient with Microsoft Applications, especially Word, Excel, and Outlook. Expert level Excel skills to include Pivot Tables and Macros preferred, but not required.

-       Ability to effectively work under pressure to meet deadlines in a high volume and fast-paced environment.

-       Experience with apparel cutting and sewing preferred.

-       Good organizational, time management and meeting professional commitments.
