Project manager

• Manage assigned projects from initiation to completion, ensuring quality, timely delivery, cost control and effective risk management.
• Act as the main point of contact for communication and coordination with clients, vendors, subcontractors and internal stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, master schedules and work programmes to monitor project progress and performance.
• Review and understand technical documents, engineering drawings, P&IDs, datasheets, Bills of Quantities (BOQ), Material Take-Offs (MTO) and project specifications to evaluate project scope and technical requirements.
• Coordinate with Mechanical, Piping, Electrical, Instrumentation, Engineering and Construction teams to ensure project progress, quality and compliance with specifications.
• Attend project meetings, prepare meeting minutes and follow up on outstanding action items.
• Monitor and expedite fabrication activities from production and construction through testing and final delivery.
• Coordinate with contractors and subcontractors to ensure work is carried out according to project schedules, quality standards and safety requirements.
• Participate in site supervision, inspections, acceptance testing, commissioning and project handover when required.
• Identify potential project risks, resolve technical and operational issues, and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare regular project progress reports and update the Department Head / Board of Directors on project schedules, quality, costs and potential risks.
• Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned.

• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a project manager with working experience in the steel fabrication in oil and gas / marine / offshore / etc
• Good knowledge of mechanical systems (structure/piping)
• Degree in mechanical or any Engineering discipline.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written)
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Able to multi-task and able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Expertise in Steelwork/Structure fabrication, construction, erection, assembly, and testing is an added advantage
• Possess leadership and supervisory skill to manage project team.
