The Senior Technician performs activities related to manufacturing, defines processes, sets up equipment parameters, designs fixture/tool jigs for new products, and provides technical support & improvement for current products.
Design fixture/ tool jigs for new products
Develop manufacturing processes and equipment setup parameters for assembly products based on knowledge transfer or research base to support a zero defects operations environment.
Define and continuously improve manufacturing routing to ensure process efficiency meeting the target Q, C, D.
Set up & release new products, and new lines based on the PLV (Product Line Validation) procedure. Be involved in the FA (first article), NPI (new product introduction), inspection method, fixture design, and equipment calibration process.
Training & handing over new products/ processes to Production
4M preparation for new products. Fixture design, equipment calibration process. Define process and equipment parameters & setup instructions (WI #).
Analyze proposed changes in methods and materials and contribute to continuous improvement and key lean manufacturing/ production activities. Recommend actions by analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses.
Lead special projects in applying continuous improvement techniques and implementing changes.
Work closely with Production, Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, Management, and other team members, and provide technical support to ensure high-performance production processes.
In charge of relocation projects, localization projects
Compliance with company ISO – product development process requirements, and change management when executing tasks.

Degree in mechanical/ mechatronics engineering or equivalent experience required
At least 5 years experience in the same position at a relevant industry manufacturer
Experienced in PPAP, FMEA, SPC
Must be proficient in SOLIDWORKS/ AUTOCAD
Thorough knowledge of manufacturing processes and routines. Ability to develop production processes and effectively apply continuous improvement methods to design and manufacturing functions (e.g., process mapping, design‐to‐production automation)
Must possess an understanding of statistical methods and the ability to interpret and communicate data to management and customers
Experienced in Lean manufacturing is an advantage
Solid knowledge about the assembly process, assembly process development, PCB process, soldering, customer sample and approval process, and inspection equipment in the assembly process.
Good at English
Ability to effectively communicate and present information to team members, team leaders, and management
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Project management and presentation skills.
