Logistic Executive

Job Description

Import:

• Following Import shipments and make sure delivery schedule in time.
• Co-working with Forwarders and Vendors to arrange shipments in time.
• Completing Customs procedure and making sure the correction of Shipping documents (Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading and so on) and Customs Declaration Forms.
• Buying Import Cargo Insurance for all needed shipments.
• Solving unexpected issues.

Export:

• Booking for enough space to export goods in time as required.
• Coordinating with Forwarders and related sections to proceed export shipments smoothly.
• Completing Customs procedure and making sure the correction of Shipping documents (Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading and so on) and Customs Declaration Forms.
• Buying Export Insurance as Law.
• Prepare CO if required by Customers.
• Solving unexpected issues.
• Settlement Report.
• Following stock and making the settlement report for Import for Export and Processing contract to Customs.
• Making BOM for reporting as required, according to Customs declaration procedures.
• Logistics expense control.
• Checking and confirming Logistics expenses monthly.
• Submitting Expense report to Management.
• Having methods to reduce Logistics cost.
• Monitoring Forwarders and evaluating them yearly.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Job Requirement

·       At least university graduation with major in import-export, international economics or other related fields.

·       Good English 

·       Minimum 1-2 Years experience in handling clearing & forwarding, product costing and dealings with customs.

·       Knowledge of prevailing customs rules and regulations.

·       Knowledge of imports & exports procedures, customs.

·       Knowledge of logistics and freight industry.

·       Knowledge of procurement rules and regulations.

·       Knowledge of packaging products for shipping/delivery.

·       Knowledge of warehousing methodology.

·       Strong communication, negotiation, and persuasion skills

·       Hard working, responsible, being able to withstand work pressure

·       Honest, agile, enthusiast

·       Ability to team work and work independently, carefully

·       Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook, ...).
