Senior Accountant (In charge Data Reporting)

Job Description

1. Financial Accounting:

• Record and reconcile transactions in premium, expenses insurance transactions, reserve transactions, funds
• Responsible for doing with External Auditor in auditing activities and audit report

2. Financial period closing:

• Execute accounting period closing activities [for specific areas give by the line-manager(s)]
• Preparing regulatory financial reports
• Provide accounting information for MBAL's management reports to the Performance Management Department & other Departments

3. Project involvement:

• Actively involve in Projects: core transformation, Automatic reports in system, current system maintenance and enhancement as planned and assigned.

4. Miscellaneous:

• Support the development and maintenance of the MBAL’s internal control framework, process and procedures manual
• Develop internal procedures and regulations.
• Other tasks as assigned by the Chief Accountant and (co) line-manager(s)

Job Requirement

• Qualification: Bachelor degree in Finance, Accounting and/or Business, Economics
• Experience: At least 2 years of experience in Accounting - preferably insurance sector and SAP-EBAO system
• Experience with Prepare financial reports
• Strong MS Excel knowledge
