Daikin Vietnam – formerly known as Viet Kim Joint Stock Company – was established in 1995 and specialized in distributing Daikin air conditioning products in Vietnam.
In October 2008, Viet Kim officially became a member of the Daikin Group. As an official member of Daikin Industries, Ltd., Japan—the world's leading air conditioning manufacturer—Viet Kim has been a trusted provider committed to delivering comfortable and high-quality living environments to customers throughout Vietnam. The company established an extensive distribution and service network across the country to best meet customer needs.
By building a nationwide network, Viet Kim not only distributed products but also provided comprehensive after-sales services, ranging from technical consultation to warranty, repair, and maintenance services for all products distributed in the domestic market.
In 2013 and 2014, Viet Kim was ranked among the Top 500 Largest Enterprises in Vietnam and was recognized among the Top 100 Most Trusted Brands by the Vietnam Economic Times and Consumer Magazine in 2013. The company was also a pioneer in implementing national energy efficiency standards under the Vietnamese Government’s energy-saving program.
In early 2015, Viet Kim Joint Stock Company officially changed its name to Daikin Air Conditioning (Vietnam) Joint Stock Company.
