132722 - Service Engineer - Printing

RGF's Client - a Japanese company in the Printing industry - is looking for a Service Engineer to provide on-site technical support for industrial printing customers, troubleshoot printing quality issues, support machine setup and process improvement, and coordinate with distributors, customers, Japan HQ, and regional technical teams.

• Working Location: Gia Dinh Ward, Ho Chi Minh City (Distributors)
• Monthly Salary: Up to 35M VND Gross

Job Responsibilities

• Provide on-site technical support for industrial printing customers
• Visit customer sites together with the local distributor's sales team (approximately 3–4 customer visits per day)
• Analyze and troubleshoot printing-related issues such as color inconsistency, color registration, poor adhesion, drying problems, and printing quality defects
• Provide technical advice on printing processes, color management, and ink application
• Support machine setup, maintenance, and process improvement at customer sites
• Communicate with customers to identify technical problems and recommend appropriate solutions
• Report technical issues to Japan HQ and work with overseas technical teams when escalation is required
• Communicate with regional technical teams in Thailand and Indonesia regarding technical matters
• Prepare technical reports in English
• Perform other related tasks as assigned

Necessary Skill / Experience

• Education: Any
• Language: English: Intermediate level (daily communication and technical reports)
• At least 7 years of experience in the printing industry
• Experience in technical support and maintenance of industrial printing ink
• Experience troubleshooting printing issues such as color variation, color misregistration, drying problems, and poor adhesion.
• Ability to identify the cause of printing problems and provide technical solutions.
• Knowledge of prepress and printing processes
• Ability to identify and solve printing-related technical problems independently
• Basic PC skills

Preferable Skill/ Experience

• Experience working for an ink manufacturer
• Strong knowledge of prepress processes
• Extensive experience (around 10 years) in the printing industry is highly preferred
