Establish and maintain quality requirements for raw materials for use in Production.
Ensure that raw material specifications and control limits are established and updated appropriately –supplier specification.
Manage and monitor supplier performance, improvement activities, performance feedback to supplier for material issue.
Fully understand supplier’s manufacturing process, control methods, measurement and quality system for developing raw material FMEA.
Drive the improvement of quality and performance of suppliers' quality systems including management of change and notification protocols, root cause investigation, documentation and reporting and non-conforming material review systems.
Support trouble shooting of supplied material issues and facilitate Root Cause Investigations (RCI) related to supplied materials impact on final product performance and develop mitigation strategies to prevent excursions.

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science/Engineering.
2+ years combined experience in Engineering, Quality or Continuous Improvement Engineering is required.
Demonstrated experience with risk tools such as FMEA’s and understanding of statistical techniques including Control Charts, Gage R&R is required.
Required to have proficient computer skills such as advanced Excel and Power Point use.
Moderate English communication skill in both writing and speaking.
Demonstrated experience using formal problem solving methodologies such as 8D, RCCA, QC problem solving story, 5 why, FMEA, or others. (preferred)
Experience working with suppliers or contract manufacturers on technical projects such as development, improvement, or problem solving related to electric material. (preferred).
