• Implementation and supervision all issues related to instrument engineering and equipment
• Implementation and supervision of activities related to the field of Instrument maintenance in HDPE/PP/LL plant as assigned by the Instrument Leader
• Responsible for maintaining the Instrument equipment and facilities in the process units /utilities & offsites to the required operational safety and efficiency by providing technical support in terms of carrying repair, modify and rectify systems and components faults in accordance with client’s procedures and specifications as well as guiding junior instrument technicians in their development
• Identifying potential hazard and risk associated with the routine maintenance activities and to perform Job Hazard Analysis with supervisors, contractor and process operators prior commencement of work
• Identifying equipment, systems and component faults and carrying out problem solving and decision analysis
• Maintenance of flow instruments and sensors, level instruments, pressure instruments, temperature devices, final control elements valves & positioners, gas and flame detectors and auxiliary instruments such as vibration probes, limit switches, load cells, etc
• Using of measuring or calibrating tools / instruments such as multimeter, voltage tester, electronic oscilloscope, etc
• Performing routine preventive maintenance of instrument systems and equipment such as meter proving, calibration checks, cleaning of sensors, etc
• Maintenance and trouble - shooting of equipment in control loops, fault detections, loop checks and failure analysis
• Responsible for performing the tasks assigned by the Instrument Leader and responsible for implementation and assigning work to members and workers the daily production tasks at site, strictly complying with Quality management system (QMS), HSE management system, …
• Support Instrument Leader for prepare method statement, schedule if requirement
• Cooperate equipment supplier supervisor with subcontractor
• Be available at the petrochemical plants 24h/7d, including weekends, holidays, etc. to handle technical situations arising during the operation of the petrochemical plants

Major Level:

• Bachelor/Engineer Degree
• Experience in Oil & Gas Industrial, Heavy/ Petrochemical Industrial or Related Industries: 05 - 07 years.
• Supervising experience in Oil & Gas Industrial, Heavy/Petrochemical Industrial or Related Industries: At least 05 years as Supervisor/ Experience in the Leader position of Instrument Maintenance Team and performing specialized work in the Overall Maintenance (Turn Around) of industrial plant.
• Fluency in reading, writing and speaking English.

Experiences and knowledge:

• Have in-depth and up-to-date knowledge on the maintenance of key equipment used in industrial/petrochemical plants.
• Knowledgeable with the industrial standards and code requirements for control, safety systems, calibration and field instrument equipment: ISA, IEC, API, ISO, HART communication, MODBUS, …
• Knowledgeable with the application of variable type of control systems such as Distributed Control System (DCS/PMCS); Emergency Shutdown System (ESD) Fire and Gas System (FGS); Programmable Logic Controller (PLC), …
• Have experience in maintenance of field instrument equipment in Petrochemical plant or Oil & gas plant (PT, TT, PDT, FT, Fire and Gas Detector, Anylizer, control valve, level, sensor, …).
• Proficient in CMMS (Maximo/SAP or similar...), Navisworks, 2D/3D AutoCAD, MS Office, …
• Intensive/ Enhanced Training Course as required and provided by LSP.
• Strong leadership, problem solving, excellent technical and management skills are required.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively control schedule, concise execution of plans, integrity and strong communication skills. Strong customer relation management skills are a must.
