We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Product Owner Manager to lead and mentor a team of Product Owners, driving the development and delivery of high-impact products that improve patient care and operational efficiency. This role requires a strong understanding of the healthcare industry, Agile methodologies, and a proven ability to manage and develop product teams in a regulated environment.
Responsibilities:
Team Leadership & Mentorship: Lead, coach, and mentor a team of Product Owners, providing guidance on product strategy, roadmap development, prioritization, backlog refinement, and stakeholder management. Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
Product Strategy & Vision: Collaborate with senior leadership and stakeholders to define and articulate the overall product vision and strategy, ensuring alignment across all product teams. Contribute to the long-term product roadmap.
Roadmap Development & Prioritization: Oversee the creation and maintenance of product roadmaps, aligning with business objectives, market opportunities, and regulatory requirements. Prioritize features and functionalities based on value, feasibility, risk, and regulatory compliance.
Requirement Elicitation & Management: Work closely with stakeholders (clinicians, administrators, IT, etc.) to gather, analyze, and document detailed product requirements. Ensure requirements are clear, concise, and testable.
Agile Execution: Champion Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and ensure their effective implementation across product teams. Facilitate sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
Release Management: Oversee the release planning and execution of product releases, ensuring timely and successful delivery. Collaborate with engineering, quality assurance, and other relevant teams.
Market Analysis: Maintain a strong understanding of market trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory requirements within the healthcare industry.
Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve product development processes, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
Stakeholder Management: Effectively communicate product vision, strategy, progress, and challenges to stakeholders at all levels, including executive leadership, clinicians, hospital administrators, and engineering teams. Manage expectations and resolve conflicts.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Track and report on key product metrics, identify areas for improvement, and provide regular updates to stakeholders on product performance and progress.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all product development activities adhere to relevant regulatory guidelines and standards (e.g., HIPAA, FDA regulations).

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., business administration, healthcare administration, computer science) or equivalent experience. Master's degree preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in product management within the healthcare industry, with a focus on hospital systems or medical technology.
Minimum of 3 years of experience managing and mentoring a team of Product Owners.
Proven track record of successfully launching and managing multiple products throughout their lifecycle in a regulated environment.
Deep understanding of Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) and experience applying them in a healthcare setting.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences, including clinicians and hospital administrators.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
Experience with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, Trello) and collaboration platforms (e.g., Confluence, Slack).
Understanding of HIPAA, FDA regulations, or other relevant healthcare regulations.
Experience working with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems, Health Information System (HIS) or other hospital information systems is a plus.
Experience with specific healthcare technologies (e.g., telehealth, remote patient monitoring, medical imaging, B2B & B2C apps for user's experience).
