Job Summary:
Plays a crucial role in identifying and attracting top talent for an organization.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Consulting with Hiring Manager: Understanding the hiring needs and requirements of the organization.
• Job Posting: Writing and posting job descriptions on various platforms such as career websites, newspapers, and university boards.
• Screening Candidates: Reviewing resumes and application forms to identify suitable candidates.
• Conducting Interviews: Performing initial phone screenings and in-person or virtual interviews to assess candidates’ qualifications and cultural fit.
• Background Checks: Conducting background checks and calling references.
• Onboarding: Assisting with the onboarding process and orientation for new hires.
• Maintaining Records: Processing hiring paperwork and maintaining employee records.
• Building Relationships: Developing and maintaining relationships with colleges, employment agencies, and other partners to source candidates.
• Experience: 2-3 years’ experience in recruitment or human resources is often required.
• Strong Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate with candidates and hiring managers.
• Organizational Skills: Managing multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.
• Knowledge of Recruitment Strategies: Understanding of the job market and recruitment best practices.
• Interpersonal Skills: Building rapport with candidates and stakeholders.
Experience and Education:
• Education: A degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is typically preferred.
