Reporting to: Managing Partner

The Business Development Manager plays a key role in driving the Firm's business development, client relationship, and marketing initiatives. Working closely with Partners, lawyers, and Dentons offices worldwide, this position is responsible for developing and executing strategic business development plans that strengthen client relationships, enhance the Firm's market presence, and support sustainable business growth.

We are seeking a highly motivated professional who is proactive, disciplined, and results-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently while collaborating effectively across teams.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Develop and implement business development and marketing strategies for the Firm and its practice groups.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute client engagement initiatives, including seminars, webinars, conferences, networking events, and other business development activities.
  • Collaborate closely with Partners and lawyers to prepare client pitches, capability statements, legal updates, submissions to legal directories and awards, and other business development materials.
  • Coordinate cross-border business development opportunities and client proposals with Dentons Global and Dentons offices worldwide, serving as the primary liaison for the Vietnam office.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support client development initiatives.
  • Support initiatives that enhance Dentons LuatViet's profile and reputation in the legal market.
  • Conduct industry and market research on a case-by-case basis to support business development initiatives and strategic client targeting.

Job Requirement

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Law, Communications, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in business development, marketing, sales, or client relationship management, preferably within a law firm, consulting firm, financial services, or other professional services environment.
  • Proven ability to independently develop and execute business development and marketing plans.
  • A proactive mindset with a strong sense of ownership, accountability, resilience, and discipline.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Strong leadership, collaboration, and stakeholder management capabilities
  • Practical experience using AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Claude, Gemini, or similar technologies) to enhance productivity in marketing, research, content development, or business operations.
  • Experience using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or other visual content creation tools would be an advantage.
  • Fluency in Vietnamese and English, with exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
