CJ Foods Vietnam is seeking a results-driven C&B Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and delivering Compensation & Benefits operations and total reward initiatives in alignment with business strategy, approved budget and company policies. This role translates C&B strategy into effective programs, ensures accurate and compliant payroll and benefits administration, provides data-driven recommendations, and leads the day-to-day performance of the C&B team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
- Manage salary structures, job grading, pay scales and market benchmarking to ensure competitiveness and internal equity.
- Lead annual PMDS, salary review, promotion and variable-pay processes.
- Provide C&B insights to support talent attraction, retention and workforce decisions.
- Manage employee benefits, welfare and insurance programs.
- Monitor benefits costs, utilization, vendor performance and employee feedback to drive improvements.
- Address escalated queries on compensation, benefits and reward policies.
- Oversee payroll, PIT, social insurance and final-payment processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness (local & expat employees)
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, tax regulations, company policies and internal controls.
- Manage audits, statutory reporting and risk-control actions.
- Ensure accuracy and confidentiality of C&B data, payroll parameters and HR system workflows.
- Drive HRM/payroll system improvements and data validation.
- Deliver C&B dashboards, payroll reports and workforce-cost analyses for management decisions.
- Implement and communicate C&B policies and provide guidance to employees and managers.
- Lead C&B improvement projects in collaboration with HRBPs, Finance, Legal and other stakeholders.
- Coach and supervise C&B team members, escalating key issues to the C&B Head when needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Finance, Accounting or a related field.
- Minimum 9 years of HR experience, with strong exposure to C&B, payroll and total rewards.
- Hands-on experience in payroll and benefits administration for expatriates/foreign employees, including tax, social insurance, work permit and related compliance matters.
- Good knowledge of Vietnamese labor law, PIT, social insurance and related compliance requirements.
- Experience in salary benchmarking, annual salary review, benefits administration, payroll controls and audit support.
- Strong Excel, analytical and reporting skills; experience with HRM/payroll systems is required.
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Professional English communication skills.
- Detail-oriented, proactive and highly ethical, with the ability to manage confidential information and work under pressure.
