Job Description

Develop and execute merchandising strategies for the NON-FOOD category
Manage product assortment, category planning, and SKU selection
Source and negotiate with local and international NON-FOOD suppliers
Ensure compliance with local safety regulations and quality standards
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and consumer preferences
Oversee pricing strategies and promotional planning
Analyze sales performance, margins, and inventory turnover
Work closely with procurement, operations, and marketing teams
Manage stock levels, minimize wastage, and ensure proper inventory control
Lead and develop the merchandising team

Job Requirement

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Food Science, Marketing, or related field
Minimum 3-5 years experience as a merchandising manager, with strong exposure to food/non-food/FMCG category in retail, supermarket
Background in handling perishable and non-perishable food products
Exposure to private label / housebrand food development
Solid understanding of Vietnam’s retail market and consumer trends
Experience in sourcing and managing suppliers
Knowledge of safety standards and regulatory requirements
Strong analytical and commercial mindset
Good leadership and communication skills
Proficiency in Excel and merchandising systems
Fluency in English and Vietnamese.
Proficiency in Mandarin is an added advantage
