The Digital Fundraising and Communications Specialist will be responsible for online communications and fundraising for the organization by using website and social networks (Facebook, Youtube, Instagram, LinkedIn, Tiktok, etc); online crowdfunding platforms; running FB ads and Email Marketing.
This position provides a unique opportunity for an individual with superior strategic thinking, communication, analysis and project management skills to lead from the front in ensuring a sustainable fund for Teach for Viet Nam.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Vision and Strategy (10%):
Develop communications and fundraising strategies to reach organizational goals.
Ensure communications and fundraising strategy are in alignment with Teach For Viet Nam’s mission and vision.
Track progress against strategy and report to relevant stakeholders on a regular basis.
Content Creation (35%)
Develop/edit communication content in different forms in the form of articles, images, videos, etc to serve the organization's communications and fundraising.
In charge of content and posting on the organization's digital platforms including the website, and social media channels such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Youtube, Tiktok, etc.
Coordinate with Communications Intern and Design Intern to prepare communication materials for the organization's media and fundraising campaigns/events.
Graphic Design and Video Editor (30%)
Take photos/edit images and videos necessary for internal and external communication through social networks, websites, TVC, etc.
Design images used in printing communication materials for events and fundraising activities: direct fundraising, online fundraising, corporate fundraising and the organization's website content such as banners, brochures, standee, backdrop, leaflet, and wobbler, etc.
Newly designed and updated the organization's communication products: pens, key chains, t-shirts, canvas bags, notebooks, teddy bears, and communication toolkits for fundraising.
Collaborate with the program team to get the daily videos and pictures to use for communications and fundraising materials.
Work with the event and design agencies when required.
Digital Fundraising (20%)
Creating/updating new fundraising cases on crowdfunding platforms: Global Giving, Benevity, Momo, Zalopay, Thiennguyen.apps and other crowdfunding platforms to raise funds for the organization.
Run Fb ads, analyze data to measure and evaluate the FB ads’ effectiveness.
Coordinate with relevant departments/teams to run fundraising campaigns and events.
Send monthly e-newsletters to donors.
Looking for the ambassadors, KOLs, Influencers, etc to support the fundraising and fellow recruitment campaigns.
Other tasks as required by the Direct Manager.
Learning and Development (5%):
Upskill through training and workshops with the regional and global network.
Take an active part in building a learning organization and positive work culture (some activities include but are not limited to annual step-back, Summer Institute training, quarter and annual coaching conversations.)
Job Requirement
REQUIREMENTS
1 – 2 years of experience in Marketing, PR, and Business Administration.
Interested in entrepreneurship, business, leadership and community development.
Able to work under pressure and multiple tasks.
Good time-management skills.
Flexible and independent with the ability to work with details in a fast-paced environment.
A Positive, Responsible, Patient, Committed and Self-driven person.
