Customs Operation Specialist

Job Responsibilities

• Supervise daily customs clearance activities and monitor overall customs operations for client. 
• Monitor and follow up daily customs issues to ensure timely resolution and minimize shipment delays.
• Coordinate and communicate with customs clearance vendors to follow up shipment status and resolve operational issues.
• Prepare and consolidate daily customs reports for internal and customer review.
• Monitor vendor performance and ensure customs clearance activities comply with customer requirements and agreed service standards.
• Coordinate with internal Operations, Customer Service and other relevant teams to handle customs-related issues.
• Support process improvement and other customs operation tasks as assigned.

Requirements

• 3–4 years of experience in Customs Declaration / Customs Clearance, preferably in Freight Forwarding or Logistics.
• Strong knowledge of Vietnam customs procedures and import/export regulations.
• Experience in monitoring customs clearance activities and handling customs-related issues.
• Good communication and coordination skills, especially with external vendors.
• English: Above-average working proficiency, able to communicate and coordinate with vendors effectively.
• Chinese: Not required; Chinese proficiency is a plus and may be considered for additional salary.
• Good reporting, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Careful, responsible and able to work under pressure.
• Good Excel skills for daily reporting and data monitoring.
