Job Description

Act as the site EHS lead, fully responsible for planning, implementing, and controlling all Environment, Health & Safety activities. This role operates independently and reports directly to the Operations Director / General Director on EHS performance, compliance, and risk management.

  • Develop, implement, and maintain EHS policies, procedures, and programs for the site.
  • Monitor compliance with legal EHS requirements and internal standards.
  • Conduct EHS risk assessments, inspections, and audits across factory and warehouse areas.
  •  Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses; perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
  • Coordinate and deliver EHS training, toolbox talks, and safety awareness programs.
  • Manage contractor EHS compliance and site safety performance.
  • Prepare and submit EHS reports, KPIs, and statutory documentation to management and authorities.
  • Lead emergency response planning, drills, and incident management.
  • Advise Operations Director on EHS risks, improvements, and compliance gaps.
  • Promote EHS culture and continuous improvement across the organization.

Job Requirement

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environment, Safety, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 7–10 years of experience in EHS roles within manufacturing or industrial environments.
  • Proven experience working independently and leading site-level EHS programs.
  • Strong communication, influencing, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work directly with senior management and external authorities.
  • Good English communication skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of Vietnamese EHS laws and regulations.
  •  Strong understanding of occupational health & safety and environmental management systems.
  • Familiarity with ISO 14001, ISO 45001, or equivalent EHS standards.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing / industrial safety practices and contractor management.
  • Competence in risk assessment, incident investigation, and regulatory reporting.
