HCM - Merchandise Planning Supervisor (Charles & Keith)

JOB BRIEF: 

• A Shoes leader of Merchandise Planning team. 

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES: 

1. Category Management & Business Ownership (Shoes) 

• Full ownership of the Shoes category's business performance: sales, stock, and profitability 

• Work with the Principal on Assortment Planning (construction, color ratio, size curve), New Season Buying, and Repeat orders for A-class sellers, based on sales history, customer demand, and product feedback 

• Build pricing strategy for new seasons together with the Principal; manage the markdown cycle to maximize margin with minimal profit dilution 

2. Inventory & Stock Control 

• Own and maintain key planning reports: Stock, Sales, Sell-thru, Aging, and Markdown… 

• Plan and monitor stock consolidation between stores and regions 

• Monitor stock-outs to ensure replenishment efficiency 

• Oversee store-to-store consolidation results executed by MPE, and provide direction when stock movement issues arise 

3. Cross-Functional Collaboration 

• Work closely with MP, VM, Operation, Marketing, Logistics, and IT teams to improve planning processes, SOPs, and support the brand in achieving overall KPIs 

4. Team Development 

• Supervise the work of Merchandise Planning Specialists/Executives (MPS/MPE) 

• Conduct regular training on Excel skills and inventory control knowledge 

5. Other tasks as assigned by the direct line manager. 

Requirements for the role: 

• Tools & Technical: Advanced Excel (XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, Pivot Tables, data modelling, dynamic reporting), VBA automation, Power BI (dashboards & data visualization), SAP, Centric PLM, MS 365 (Word, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint) 

• Logical thinking, teamwork and able to withstand high pressure 

• English: Good level 

• At least 3 years’ experience in the related field
