Job Description

GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF THE POSITION:

This position is responsible for the administration, optimization, maintenance, and ongoing support of Summit Polymers' HRIS, Ceridian Dayforce. This role serves as the subject matter expert for Dayforce and partners closely with HR, Payroll, IT, Finance, and business leaders to ensure data integrity, system efficiency, process standardization, and a positive user experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

HRIS Administration & Support

·        Serve as the primary administrator and subject matter expert for Dayforce.

·        Configure and maintain HRIS modules including Core HR, Payroll, Benefits, Recruiting, Time & Attendance as applicable.

·        Manage system security roles and permissions.

·        Troubleshoot system issues and partner with internal stakeholders and vendors to resolve problems.

·        Develop user guides and provide end-user support and training for HR, managers, and employees.

System Optimization & Continuous Improvement

·        Identify opportunities to improve processes through automation, workflow enhancements, and system functionality.

·        Lead HRIS projects including implementations, upgrades, testing, and new module deployments.

·        Evaluate current business processes and recommend best practices and system solutions.

·        Maintain system documentation, standard operating procedures, and process maps.

·        Coordinate system updates, patches, and new feature releases.

·        Configure workflows, approval paths, forms, notifications, and automated processes.

Reporting & Analytics

·        Develop and maintain HR dashboards, reports, and metrics.

·        Ensure data integrity through regular audits and validation processes.

·        Support regulatory and compliance reporting requirements.

Compliance & Security

·        Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee information.

·        Ensure HRIS processes comply with federal, state, and local employment        regulations

·        Support audit requests and compliance reporting.

Cross-functional Collaboration

·        Partner with Payroll, Benefits, IT, Finance, and other departments to ensure seamless system integration.

·        Participate in HR technology projects and system implementations.

·        Coordinate data imports, exports, and interfaces with third-party systems.

Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirement

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

·        Dayforce certifications preferred

·        Experience managing a global HRIS environment

·        Experience with integrations and interfaces between HR and business systems.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

·        Strong knowledge of Dayforce functionality and best practices.

·        Understanding of HR processes, payroll practices, and data governance principles.

·        Advanced reporting and analytical skills.

·        Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.

·        Excellent project management and organizational skills.

·        Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical users.

·        Minimum score of 50 on the Wonderlic Select Assessment (Traditional Score of 20 on the cognitive portion).

·        Successful completion of any/all required pre-employment screening/testing procedures ​​​​​​​
