To ensure purchasing effectiveness in term of quality, quantity and cost for the assigned commodities

1. Closely work with MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Operations) planner and MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Operations) purchasing supervisor and related departments to ensure JIT of MRO purchased items;
2. To develop new vendors to reduce MRO purchasing cost;
3. Continuously monitoring, evaluating and improving supplier performance;
4. Monitoring delivery times to ensure they are on time;
5. Responsible for Order Placement Timing, Supply / Demand Alignment, Material Replenishment;
6. Coordinate with MRO planner to build an appropriate inventory levels for certain MRO stock room;
7. Involved in writing up purchasing contracts;
8. Works on various projects and teams to improve quality, productivity, cost, and safety.

1. Education:

Required

• Four-year university degree or similar level of knowledge and experience.
• Good English (4 skills).
• Qualified in purchasing course is an advantage.

2. Experience:

• From 2-year experience in buyer position for international companies.

3. Knowledge of:

• Technical and equipment purchase.
• Product and process knowledge.
• Understanding of production equipment and spare parts is advantages.
• Able to handle international purchasing.
