Key Purpose of the Job:

- Working closely with Project Team for the rollout preparation of new facilities in Vietnam for the Asia strategic Holdings Group.

- This role will be involved in multiple projects in parallel across all of ASH’s brands such as Wall Street English, Kids&Us, Logiscool and more to come.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

1.      Design guideline principle

-       Following and Updating the design guideline to ensure follow franchisor standards for each business units and local needs related to design

-       Develop the framework to monitor and maintain the design standard of all BUs related to specifications of materials, typical detail standard of all items in design package.

2.      Initial Feasibility Design

-       Join the site survey and conduct the reports for existing layout plan and photos with space availability analysis

-       Conduct the existing layout plan for potential site (if needed)

-       Conduct the feasibility layout plan of the future sites or properties.

3.      Concept and develop the drawing

-       Develop design documentation from initial concept stage through to construction stage (concept design, 2D, 3D…)

-       Coordinate with internal team and business function to review, revise and update the design before presenting to management for review and approve

-       Work with internal team and external vendors (if needed) to produce the construction documentation/tender drawins (IT design, Marketing Design, MEP drawing, Firefighting drawing)

4.      BOQ preparation

-       Build and maintain a BOQ template, alongside (Deputy) Project Manager and Site Supervisor for making the standardized specs for both franchises.

-       Understand and recommend the source of materials to meet the standard specification

-       Manage and establish The Approval design package (2D/3D/MEP/FFP/IT/MKT) for tender processing accordingly

-       Work closely with Site supervisor to conduct the BOQ based on approval design to ensure having all necessary elements like: quantity, quality, list of materials.

-       Adjust & Manage the changes related to design during tendering and construction phase

-       Maintains current knowledge of trends and materials, techniques, and other developments in interior design

5.      Project coordination

-       Work closely with internal team to ensure the design is correctly built, able to adapt to any construction on site changes

-       Ensure all the drawings will be stored properly in both hard copy and digital channel

-       Participate in all phases of process from feasibility to tender and construction follow-up

Know-how and Competency requirements:

Required Competencies

·       Result-driven

·       Great organization, planning, and problem-solving skills

·       Good knowledge of local procedures and market for supplies

·       Good with time management, competent on producing and reading construction drawings

·       Advantage for those who understand well the Design Process, Construction Process.

·       Confident in taking a brief from design concepts to construction documentation

·       Excellent communication skills both verbal and visual to convey ideas and seek solutions

Qualification and Experience Required

-       Bachelor of Architecture degree or interior design degree required.

-       Proficiency Revit is a must,

-       Proficiency of Auto cad, Sketchup and Photoshop

-       Knowledge or 3D Max would be a plus
