JOB SUMMARY

Conduct research and development activities to improve manufacturing processes, develop new products, and optimize product quality. Support trial production and establish manufacturing conditions to ensure products meet customer requirements and production efficiency.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Research & Development

• Conduct experimental and theoretical research to support product and process development.
• Analyze research data and prepare technical reports and recommendations.
• Develop and validate new manufacturing technologies and production methods.

2. Laboratory & Equipment Management

• Manage laboratory facilities, testing instruments, and research equipment.
• Ensure laboratory equipment is properly calibrated, maintained, and operated according to safety standards.
• Coordinate procurement and maintenance of laboratory consumables and equipment when required.

3. Process Improvement

• Identify and implement improvements for manufacturing processes
• Investigate production issues and propose corrective and preventive actions.

4. Trial Production & Process Development

• Establish manufacturing conditions for trial products from wire rod through wet drawing and subsequent production processes.
• Prepare trial production plans and technical documentation.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality, and related departments during product development activities.

5. Production Deployment & Monitoring

• Deploy and monitor trial production processes.
• Ensure product quality complies with established manufacturing conditions and customer specifications.
• Monitor production progress to ensure on-time delivery of trial products.
• Analyze trial results and recommend process optimization before mass production.

Position 1 – R&D Engineer (Chemical / Materials)

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Materials Science, Materials Engineering, or related fields.
• At least 1 year of experience in Rubber, Adhesion, Lubrication, or other related manufacturing/R&D fields.
• Candidates with experience in production process improvement or product development are preferred.

Position 2 – R&D Engineer (Mechanical)

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Machine Design, or related fields.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Internship or project experience related to manufacturing or product development is an advantage.

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

• Candidates with an R&D background are highly preferred. However, applicants with relevant experience in manufacturing or production engineering are also encouraged to apply.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and continuous improvement is an advantage.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD is a strong plus.
• Good command of English (written and spoken).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and willingness to learn.
• Able to work effectively both independently and in a team.
