Job Description

The role
Reporting to the Merchandising Manager, you will follow orders for assigned customers from sampling to shipment. You work closely with customers, the factory, suppliers and our Hong Kong office to make sure orders are delivered on time and to the right quality.

Key responsibilities

  • Customer communication: Handle day-to-day communication with assigned buyers, including tech packs, comments and approvals.
  • Sampling: Follow up proto, fit, size set, salesman and PP samples, and chase approvals on time.
  • Materials: Book and follow up fabric, lace, elastics and trims; follow up lab dips and strike-offs; track supplier deliveries.
  • Order processing: Check and confirm POs, prepare order summaries, and make sure BOMs and specs are accurate.
  • Internal coordination: Pass order information, labelling and packing requirements to purchasing, production and QA promptly and accurately.
  • Order follow-up: Track the T&A calendar and production status (WIP), and flag delays or problems early.
  • Shipment: Follow up ex-factory dates and shipping documents, and support the handling of delays and claims.
  • Reporting: Keep order records up to date, and report order status and issues to the Merchandising Manager.

Job Requirement

  • At least 2 years of garment merchandising experience.
  • Lingerie, swimwear or nightwear experience preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of fabrics, trims and garment construction.
  • Good written and spoken English.
  • Good Excel skills. ERP experience is a plus.
  • Detail-oriented, well organised, a good communicator, and able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
