Production Technician

Job Description

Production Technician responsibilities includes supervising the control processes, performing various tests on products, writing up reports, diagnosing and resolving problems with products, methods, and equipment, and general support to the engineering team.

1. Utilize your mechanical skills to install, remove and adjust Injection Molding machinery and equipment

2. Troubleshoot Injection Molding machines programs and follow process to resolve failures.

3. Perform set-up of molds for all mold changes, equipment set-up and start-up of injection molding machines, operate all molding machines and mold quality parts to customer specifications and standards

4. Assist in preventative maintenance and repair of molding machines, molds and peripherals.

5. Keep Injection Molding machines and auxiliary equipment running in a safe, productive, quality-the-first-time, and efficient manner

6. Perform cleaning and general maintenance tasks, top up resin.

7. Observe and maintain a safe work environment following Company’s safety, ISO standards and bringing to the attention of Management unsafe acts or conditions.

8. Achieve adequate production levels while maintaining the expected product quality

9. Ensure mold components meet all product quality criteria including dimensional criteria

10. Communicate to supervisor and other technicians and document all technical information and issues

11. Participate in reducing the rate of scrap

12. Assists in training of employees in proper work methods for safe and efficient performance of job duties.

13. Maintains records, files and other documentation pertinent to assignments.

14. Assumes additional responsibilities as required.

15. Set up and start up ability on injection mold machines.

16. Arburg, Sumitomo, Netstal machine experience a plus.

17. Other duties as assigned by manager

Job Requirement

Qualification:
Graduated from technical college, computer vision and/or camera, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

Experience:

1.      2+ years experience managing machine.

2.      Injection Molding machine processing experience is plus.

Skills:

1.      English communication

2.      Able to work with a team to accomplish company goals.

3.      Strict attention to safety procedures and guidelines including Groupe standard.

4.      Process working experience in plastic injection mold.

5.      Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/Outlook)

6.      Able to understand technical drawing for precision parts and components.

7.      Living in Long An province (Long Hau) is a positive point.
