Job Description

1. In-Process Quality Control

- Monitor and control product quality during all manufacturing processes.

- Monitor process compliance with approved standards and customer requirements.

- Monitor process capability and SPC data.

- Prepare and update SPC charts (X-bar, R chart, IMR chart, etc.).

- Analyze SPC trends and report abnormal conditions.

- Follow up corrective actions when SPC data is out of control.

- Process capability analysis (Cp, Cpk).

- Coordinate with Production team to prevent recurrence of defects.

2. Measurement & Measuring Equipment Control

- Manage measuring instruments and ensure proper control status.

- Conduct periodic verification and yearly calibration activities.

- Maintain calibration records and ensure traceability of measurement standards.

- Perform Measurement System Analysis (MSA), including GRR studies.

3. APQP & Quality Documentation

- Prepare and update quality documents, including: PFMEA /Control Plan /Work Instruction (WI)/ Inspection Standards/ Check Sheets/ and related quality documents.

- Participate in APQP activities for new products and process changes.

- Support FPA (First Piece Approval) and mass production launch activities.

- Update quality documents when process, customer requirements change, quality improvement activities.

- Ensure proper distribution and control of quality-related documents.

4. Customer Complaint & Internal Defect Management

- Investigate customer complaints, claims, and internal quality issues.

- Conduct root cause analysis using quality tools such as 5 Why / Fishbone Diagram / 8D Report

- Implement and follow up corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) until close

- Coordinate containment actions and sorting activities for non-conforming products.

- Verify effectiveness of corrective actions and maintain related records.

5. Quality Patrol & Audit Activities

- Plan and conduct monthly quality patrol activities in production areas.

- Report abnormal findings and follow up corrective actions.

- Conduct layered process audits (LPA) and process verification activities when required.

- Participate in internal audits according to audit schedules.

- Support customer audits, certification audits, and external audits.

6. Quality Management System (QMS)

- Maintain and improve QMS in compliance with ISO/IATF and customer requirements.

- Analyze quality data and prepare quality performance reports.

- Maintain quality records and support document control activities.

- Support risk assessment and lessons learned activities.

7. Communication & Coordination

- Conduct weekly quality meetings with Production and related departments.

- Coordinate with Production, Engineering, Warehouse, Maintenance, and Sales departments regarding quality matters.

- Support and cover related QA/QC staff tasks when team members are absent (leave, outside sorting support, etc)

Job Requirement

- Basic knowledge of quality control and manufacturing processes (incoming/In-process/inspection)

- Ability to identify issues and apply problem-solving tools (5 Why, Fishbone, 7QC tools such as Pareto, check sheets, …)

- Capable of collecting and analyzing simple data, tracking defects and trends. Able to use basic measuring instruments (caliper, micrometer)

- Understanding of ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 is a plus

- Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel), knowledge of data analysis (data entry, filtering, simple reporting) is an advantage

- Good reading and basic communication skills in English

- Willing to work in factory environment

- Responsible, proactive, willing to learn, and able to work independently and a good team

- Preferably 0–3 years of experience in QA/QC or quality management in manufacturing (mechanical is preferred), fresh graduates with strong learning attitude are welcome

- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related fields
