Job Description

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Quality Management Systems (QMS) & Compliance

  • Establish, maintain, and optimize QMS policies, SOPs, and technical documentation in strict compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and EHS standards.
  • Lead all internal, third-party certification, and customer quality audits while monitoring operational risks to report to the Board of Directors.
  • Oversee document control architecture, including inspection standards, engineering specifications, and change management procedures.

Operations, In-Process Quality & Technical Assurance

  • Supervise and direct daily QA, QC (IQC, IPQC, OQC), and Metrology/Lab testing activities across all production lines.
  • Ensure all incoming materials, in-process assemblies, and finished products adhere strictly to engineering drawings, technical specifications, and customer quality standards.
  • Deploy core quality tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA) and drive the timely resolution of non-conformances (NCR/CAR) to optimize yield and reduce scrap.
  • Final decision-making authority regarding MRB (Material Review Board) dispositions (Rework, Scrap, Return to Vendor, Use As Is).

Customer & Supplier Quality Management

  • Serve as the primary technical interface for customer quality matters, audits, and complaint resolutions using 8D and 5-Why methodologies within agreed SLAs.
  • Oversee Supplier Quality Engineering (SQE) functions, including supplier evaluation criteria, periodic audits, and incoming defect monitoring.
  • Drive Supplier Corrective Action Requests (SCAR) to ensure a consistently high-quality material supply chain.

Team Leadership, Management & Reporting

  • Manage, mentor, and evaluate Quality Department staff, conducting technical training programs (GD&T, ISO standards, inspection tools) to enhance team capability.
  • Consolidate and report weekly, monthly, and quarterly Quality KPI metrics to executive leadership and global management teams.
  • Perform other strategic or operational duties as assigned by executive leadership.

Job Requirement

Education: Minimum Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Quality Management, Mechanical/Industrial Engineering,

Technical, or related fields.

Experience: Minimum of 5–8 years of experience in Quality Management or Senior QA/QC leadership within precision manufacturing, contract manufacturing, or industrial assembly environments.

Certifications: ISO 9001 & ISO 14001 Lead Auditor/Internal Auditor Certification preferred. ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Manager (CQM/OE) is a strong plus.

Technical Knowledge:

  • In-depth understanding of quality concepts, ISO standards, and quality engineering principles.
  • Hands-on mastery of 7 QC Tools, 8D Problem Solving, 5-Why, FMEA, SPC, MSA, and PPAP.
  • Proficiency in reading mechanical drawings, technical specifications, and GD&T requirements.

Soft Skills & Leadership:

  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving, and detail-oriented attributes.
  • Proven leadership, team building, performance management, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under high pressure and adapt to rapid business growth.

Language & IT Skills:

Fluency in spoken and written English and Vietnamese for customer interface and report writing.

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and quality data management systems/ERP.
