Job Description

Job Summary:

The senior HR Generalist provides integrated HR support and people solutions that strengthen talent acquisition, employee relations, engagement, compliance, employee experience, and operational effectiveness at Plant 2 and across URC Vietnam, as assigned.

Job Responsibilities:

A.    Recruitment (30%)

·    Manage end-to-end recruitment for Operators at Plants 1 and 2 and for professional positions at Plant 2, including job posting, sourcing & screening, interview coordination, salary offer preparation & pre-employment follow-up.

·    Coordinate pre-employment and onboarding activities and deliver company orientation programs for new hires.

·    Build and maintain qualified talent pipelines for supervisory and other critical roles at Plant 2 to support current and future hiring needs.

·    Input New Hire’s PIT tax code and dependent into system, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and internal timeline. Maintain accurate PIT records and documentation, follow up on pending cases, and coordinate the timely resolution of employee, documentation, or system-related issues.

·    Recommend and implement recruitment initiatives that improve quality of hire, time-to-fill, candidate experience, and hiring-process efficiency.

·    Partner with the HR Manager/ HRBP and relevant stakeholders to implement employer branding initiatives, career fairs, community partnerships, and other talent-attraction activities

B.    Engagement, Communications & Culture (20%)

·    Lead the development and implementation of the annual Internal Communications and Employee Engagement Plan across URC Vietnam under the direction of the HR Director / HR Manager and in close partnership with HR Site teams.

·    Develop communication guidelines, toolkits, and content support for site-led activities, including International Women’s Day, Vietnamese Women’s Day, Christmas, and other local employee initiatives implemented by the respective HR Site teams.

·     Lead the planning, delivery, and evaluation of employee engagement programs at Plant 2, including annual celebrations, team building, wellbeing, culture, and other engagement initiatives.

C.    Employee Relations and Compliance & Operations Support (30%)

·     Serve as the first point of contact for employee queries and routine employee relations matters at Plant 2.

·     Support line managers in managing attendance, probation, performance, conduct, and employee concerns in accordance with company policies and applicable labor regulations. Assist the HRBP in investigations, disciplinary processes, grievance handling, and corrective action follow-up. Identify recurring employee relations issues and recommend preventive or corrective actions.

·     Support HRBP in preparing HR documentation and reports for ISO internal and external audits, compliance reviews, and process-improvement initiatives; ensure timely closure of assigned audit findings and corrective actions.

D.    HR Administration and Employee Services & Digitalization (20%)

·   Responsible for air ticket booking & transportation arrangements for domestic and international business travels & complete related documentation.

·   Manage work permits, visas, temporary residence cards, and other immigration documentation for foreign employees, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, compliance, and timely renewal.

·   Identify opportunities to simplify HR processes, improve employee experience, and reduce administrative lead time.

·   Use HR systems, analytics, and approved AI-enabled tools to improve reporting, communication, and service delivery.

Job Requirement

Qualifications and Requirements

·    Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, Law, or a related discipline.

·    Five to seven years of progressive HR experience in FMCG, manufacturing environment, knowledge of Labor Law

·    Experience managing work permits, visas, and temporary residence procedures for foreign employees is an advantage.

·    Good written and verbal communication and presentation skills in English and Vietnamese.

·    Demonstrated ability to plan and lead employee engagement, internal communications, wellbeing, and culture-building initiatives.

·    Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with HR information systems, applicant tracking systems, reporting tools, and HR analytics.

·    Ability to use approved AI-enabled tools responsibly for content creation, data analysis, reporting, communication, and process improvement.

·    High integrity attention to detail, stakeholder orientation, learning agility, a growth mindset, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
