Stone Technician (Chuyên gia đá nội thất)

Key duties and responsibilities

1. Stone Cutting and Fabrication/ Gia công và chế tác đá

• Cut, grind, and polish natural or engineered stone (e.g. granite, marble) using machines and hand tools.
  Cắt, mài và đánh bóng đá tự nhiên hoặc đá nhân tạo (như granite, marble) bằng máy móc và dụng cụ thủ công.
• Perform edge finishing, hole drilling, surface treatment, and bonding of stone components.
  Thực hiện bo viền, khoan lỗ, xử lý bề mặt và dán kết nối các chi tiết đá.

2. Technical Drawing Interpretation and Production Coordination/ Đọc bản vẽ kỹ thuật và phối hợp sản xuất.

· Read and understand technical drawings and shop drawings to ensure accuracy in dimensions and structural requirements.
Đọc hiểu bản vẽ kỹ thuật, bản vẽ shop drawing, nắm rõ yêu cầu về kích thước và kết cấu đá.

· Coordinate with design, engineering, and QC teams to meet quality and design specifications, especially when integrating with wood, metal, or glass components.

· Phối hợp với bộ phận thiết kế, kỹ thuật hoặc QC để đảm bảo sản phẩm đúng tiêu chuẩn và phù hợp với hệ thống nội thất khác (gỗ, kim loại, kính…).

3. Quality Control/ Kiểm tra chất lượng

· Inspect the color, veining, polish level, thickness, and dimensional accuracy of processed stone.
Kiểm tra màu sắc, vân đá, độ bóng, độ dày, sai số kích thước.

· Ensure products are free of cracks, chips, voids, or warping.
Đảm bảo không nứt, mẻ, lỗ rỗng hoặc cong vênh.

· Conduct adhesion and bonding tests between stone pieces or between stone and other materials.
Thực hiện test keo, phụ kiện, và độ bám dính nếu dán liên kết đá – đá hoặc đá – vật liệu khác.

4. Machine Operation and Maintenance/ Vận hành và bảo trì thiết bị

• Operate stone processing machines such as bridge saws, edge polishers, and CNC machines.
  Vận hành các máy gia công đá như máy cắt cầu, máy mài viền, máy CNC.
• Perform routine maintenance and report equipment issues to supervisors.
  Thực hiện bảo trì định kỳ và báo cáo các sự cố máy móc cho quản lý.

5. Installation Support (Optional)/Hỗ trợ lắp đặt (nếu có)

• Assist in installing stone components into furniture structures (e.g. countertops, vanities, decorative panels).
  Hỗ trợ lắp đặt các chi tiết đá vào kết cấu nội thất (như mặt bếp, chậu rửa, tấm trang trí).
• Ensure proper fitting, alignment, and finishing at the installation site.
  Đảm bảo lắp đặt chính xác, thẩm mỹ và hoàn thiện đúng kỹ thuật tại công trình.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in stone fabrication, sourcing, or installation for interior or architectural projects./ Tối thiểu 5 năm kinh nghiệm trong gia công đá, tìm nguồn cung ứng hoặc lắp đặt đá cho các dự án nội thất hoặc kiến trúc.
• Proven experience in sourcing within the interior stone / finishing materials industry/ Có kinh nghiệm thực tế trong việc tìm nguồn cung ứng trong ngành đá nội thất / vật liệu hoàn thiện.
• Stone grading skills/experience (quality assessment, selection, matching)/ Có kỹ năng, kinh nghiệm phân loại đá (đánh giá chất lượng, lựa chọn, phối màu/vân đá phù hợp).
• Solid understanding of stone production and processing workflows/ Hiểu biết vững chắc về quy trình sản xuất và gia công đá.
• Travel experience for sourcing, factory visits, and inspections/ Có kinh nghiệm đi công tác để tìm nguồn hàng, thăm nhà máy và kiểm tra chất lượng.
• English communication skills required for business travel/ Có kỹ năng giao tiếp tiếng Anh phục vụ công tác kinh doanh/công tác nước ngoài.
• Proactive, responsible, and able to work with multiple suppliers/ Chủ động, có trách nhiệm và có khả năng làm việc với nhiều nhà cung cấp cùng lúc.
