- The P&P Technician is responsible for operating and carrying out first line maintenance of CPP facility’s process systems, associated equipment and utilities safely, with minimal environmental impact in accordance with legislation and Phu Quoc POC procedures. These activities are directed by the Production Supervisor, providing the support to Production Supervisor to supervise all personnel who work on CPP. This position plans and assigns work, implements policies and procedures and recommends improvements in production optimization. Following instruction of Supervisors to ensure safely produce daily sales gas as per requirement from Gas Sales Agreement and daily Sales Gas nomination.
- During project execution, P&P Technician will work with CPP Team to support the team for the activities related to Operations. Co-operate with team-members to develop procedures, training program for CPP and other tasks that need to prepare for operation phase.
During Operation phases, the P&P Technician monitors and controls all oil and gas production process, equipment’s performance; logs operating parameters in CPP to ensure that all the works are conducted safely and production targets are achieved. The Process and Production Technician has accountabilities & responsibilities as follows:
HSE Responsibilities:
- Attend in raising the HAZARD report for safety improvement.
- Co-operate with colleagues and under assignment of discipline
supervisor to close out theHAZARD reports as soon as possible.
- Attend monthly safety meetings.
- Attend and execute annual facility safety plan.
- Familiar and execute Permit to Work system.
- Participate in Emergency Response exercises, drills and exercises per
assigned role.
Pre-Operation Phase:
- Be familiar with the facility’s process plants safety and understand
safety requirements, includingwork permit systems, and emergency procedures, Company policy, procedure and instructions.
- Participate in Project in Commissioning period to review of the process and engineering, vendordocument that related to safety studies and other documents that contribute to operation phasein CPP.
- Involve in black start and other start up procedures as well as
controlled shutdown procedures.
- Complete all HSE CBTA modules that are defined in the training
matrix before going offshore.
- Attend training programs for offshore staff.
- Participate in support when required in pre-commissioning and
commissioning equipment,system.
- Involve in developing punch list and follow up with close-out.
- Execute all action assigned items in operations readiness check list to
be ready for OperationsReadiness.
Operation Phase:
- Be familiar with the facility’s process plants safe operation and
maintenance and mustunderstand safety requirements, including work permit systems, operational and emergencyprocedures, company policy and instructions.
- Operate process facilities as per assignment by Production
Supervisor.
- Operate and log equipment’s parameters as well as take gas,
condensate & water samples whenrequired.
- Ensure that all information entered in logs, reports, production records
are accurate andconform to the Facility Management System.
- Immediately report the abnormal condition of equipment or deviation
of operating parametersto the Production Supervisor.
- Liaise with Materials Controller for stores and spare gear and monitor
consumption forProduction Department materials.
- Gather and compile data for daily production reports and maintain a
comprehensive log of allproduction activities.
- Perform gas tests and isolations as per permit to work and safe entry
permits specific to theprocess systems.
- Monitor and maintain chemical injection equipment and monitor
dosage rates of processfluids/gas efficiently.
- Perform gas and oil in water quality testing when required.
- Monitor piping condition via corrosion probe readings and iron
counts.
- Prefer experience 1-3 years working offshore, processing plant operation in Oil and Gas industry, who has experience in Gas Field process facilities or graduated student with excellent degree.
- Experience in Safety Management Systems and computerized Planned
Maintenance Systems preferred.
- Extensive knowledge of hydrocarbon processing.
- Strong personal and interpersonal skills, culturally aware with experience
of working with a multicultural workforce.
- Fluent in English, able to make detailed and comprehensive reports.
- The mandatory training courses and certificates are required.
- Able to work in rotation in offshore environment.
- Ability to learn new equipment, processes and procedures quickly and with
a minimum of outside training or schools.
