Engineering Manager - Your future position? As the Engineering Manager , you will plan and manage the inspection and maintenance of facilities, related infrastructure, electrical and mechanical equipment, as well as production machinery to ensure that the site runs operations without undesired disruptions and at optimal capacity level. You will report to the Head of Operations (Vietnam) while being based in Binh Duong, Vietnam. Sounds interesting? In this exciting role you also will be responsible in:
Strategy Design and Execution
Contribute to the local Operations business plan by providing insights on production capacity, critical maintenance schedules, equipment changes, and spare parts inventory.
Adapt and implement local functional strategies, designing and executing related tactical and operational plans.
Maintenance
Lead a team of maintenance specialists to execute maintenance activities at a small to medium site.
Implement preventive maintenance plans and continuous support to enhance equipment availability and reliability, minimizing business disruptions.
Define maintenance budgets based on resource needs, materials, and duration.
Conduct audits and inspections to ensure compliance with EHS and QM policies.
Identify and recommend improvements to address non-compliance and optimize productivity.
Manage spare parts inventory to optimize stock levels and dispose of obsolete materials.
Collaborate with Procurement to select and manage suppliers.
Support engineering projects by providing operational procedures and conducting equipment trials.
Execute the annual operating plan within the approved budget.
Project Management
Develop site master plans to encompass all Capex, engineering, and maintenance initiatives, leading their execution to meet internal customer needs in the short, mid, and long term.
Provide input for global or regional Capex initiatives, anticipating impacts on local activities and resources.
Identify, propose, and implement local Capex projects upon approval.
Deliver exceptional engineering and maintenance services to clients through maintenance work, local projects, and coordinated capital investments.
People Management
Oversee the execution of annual HR processes for the local Maintenance team and validate outcomes.
Collaborate with local Operations and regional/global E&M management teams and HR Business Partners to develop a local talent pipeline.
Foster the development and promotion of talent within and outside the function.

Your professional profile includes:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related discipline; certifications in Plant Engineering or Maintenance are advantageous.
10 years of relevant experience within manufacturing related industries, with at least 5 years in people management.
Experience within a matrix organization is ideal.
Demonstrated success in project management, particularly in industrialization and engineering projects involving CAPEX, from design stage to handover.
Familiar working in a factory environment and actively involved on the shop floor & Gemba walks.
Proficient in industrialization processes, utilities, and project management principles, with a solid understanding of TPM, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, and project controlling tools.
Knowledge of EHS guidelines and financial concepts (OPEX, CAPEX), including experience with tools like SAP.
Strong stakeholder management & communication skills, with the ability to influence decisions and connect with various stakeholders regionally.
Proactive, resilient and not afraid to drive change.
Excellent organizational skills and ability to strategize responsibilities within the team.
Fluent in English and Vietnamese language, with experience working in diverse cultural environments.
