Cooperation Management with EUDR-relevant Partners in the Region.
Advice and support the cooperation with international partners from politics, business, and civil society, focusing on those relevant to the EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR) in the Region.
Outreach and Engagement
Identify and leverage opportunities for outreach and engagement South-East Asian countries, particularly focusing on initiatives related to the value chains coffee, palm oil and natural rubber.
Develop and implement strategies to enhance stakeholder engagement and participation.
Collaboration with TEI Secretariat
Maintain close coordination with the TEI Secretariat based in Brussels.
Regularly analyse and report on the political climate and trends related to the EUDR in the region, providing insights and strategic recommendations.
Regional Dialogue Coordination
Support and continue facilitation of already established Regional Dialogues under the Team Europe Initiative (TEI) with partners from Indonesia, Malaysia and Papa New Guinea.
Work in close collaboration with the SAFE Vietnam and Indonesia projects to ensure alignment and integration of efforts.
Integration of Regional Dialogue Activities.
Link the activities of the Regional Dialogues to global TEI initiatives, ensuring coherence and coordination with other projects addressing the EUDR in the region.
Foster synergies between regional and global efforts of the TEI and its flagship projects.
Event Management
Plan, organise, and execute outreach events (incl. TEI) in South-East Asian countries, ensuring engagement with local and regional stakeholders, both online and in presence.
Coordinate with relevant partners to ensure successful event execution, addressing all aspects of event management from planning to post-event follow-up.
Contract Management and Activity Oversight
Manage contracts related to TEI activities at the regional level, ensuring compliance and effective implementation.
Oversee the execution of identified activities, providing support and guidance as needed.

Minimum requirements:
Master’s degree in Natural Resource Management, Business Management, Economics, Agriculture, International Relations, or a related field.
A minimum of 10 years of professional experience, of which at least 5 years in a comparable position.
At least 5 years’ professional experience working in projects related to regional economic development in South-East Asia.
Experience working for the European Union or in cofinanced projects is an advantage.
Knowledge of the international discussion on EU Green Deal policies, trade, and sustainability.
Experience in engaging stakeholders from different institutional backgrounds in multi-stakeholder processes.
Experience working for or in cooperation with the private sector.
Intercultural sensitivity, strong communication and cooperation competencies and written/verbal/presentation skills; experience in dealing with politically sensitive topics and providing technical advice in politically sensitive contexts.
High level of networking and partnership management skills
Willingness to travel in the region
