The Investment Management Specialist will support the Investment Management department in investment portfolio management, joint venture investor relations, and risk/compliance oversight to ensure optimal investment performance and smooth partnerships in line with the company’s strategic goals.
1. Group portfolio management
Assis to develop the annual/3-year business plan at the subsidiaries
Support the line manage with orientation/ assignment/ assignment of targets to the subsidiaries to ensure that they develop an annual/3-year business plan to ensure compliance with the policy of the Company/Group
Assist in monitoring and managing the performance of investment portfolios (both JV and Non-JV projects) to meet financial goals and investment returns such as IRR, payback period, ROI, ROE, and dividend payouts.
Assist in performance tracking to ensure the achievement of business plans, including revenue and profit targets, through the tracking of project performance, including sales plans, development timelines, and budget compliance.
Assist in analyzing financial and operational data, and business plans of the subsidiaries to provide insights and recommendations for improving project performance.
2.Implement investment management process and standards to evaluate investment efficiency for the investment portfolio
Assist in analyzing and evaluating the implementation of business plans of the subsidiaries.
Assist in reviewing and recommending appropriate strategies for financial performance, cash-flow, compliance policies and applicable law and regulation of subsidiaries.
Assist in proposing plans, reviewing, participating, implementing to maintain, exit, reduce, and increase investment into subsidiaries.
Assist in tracking and maintaining Nam Long's commitments with partners (commitment on IRR, capital acquisition, commercial real estate acquisition, etc.) at project companies.
Facilitate and maintain strong relationships with joint venture partners to ensure adherence to JV agreements and commitments.
3.Other task assigned by line manager
Assist in preparing reports and presentations for management and stakeholders on the status and performance of investment portfolios.
Proactively monitor external and internal factors that could impact project performance, suggesting mitigation strategies as necessary.
Identify, assess, and manage risks related to investment portfolios, ensuring compliance with internal policies, legal regulations, and contractual obligations.
Support the Line Manager in any other tasks or strategic projects as required, including market research, financial modeling, and business development efforts.
Job Requirement
Background / Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance / Banking / Economics / Business Administration / Accounting.
At least 3 years of experience in investment analysis, real estate, portfolio management or auditing, preferably within the real estate or financial sectors.
CFA / ACCA / CPA / CAIA certification is a plus.
Proficiency in English.
