JOB SUMMARY
The Lean Development Specialist supports Lean implementation across plant operations, assisting in 5S, LPA/LQA, and WAR Room activities. This role focuses on identifying improvement opportunities, participating in projects, developing training materials, and ensuring adherence to Lean KPIs.

The Senior Lean Development Specialist is responsible for managing and driving Lean initiatives across plant operations, ensuring a culture of continuous improvement. This role requires prior Lean experience, leadership in improvement projects, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. The specialist will oversee 5S, LPA/LQA, and WAR Rooms, facilitate Kaizen initiatives, develop training materials, and ensure adherence to Lean KPIs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND AUTHORITIES

1/ Lean Development Specialist ( for Cu Chi side)

• Assist in the implementation and auditing of 5S, LPA/LQA, and WAR Room activities.

• Work closely with team leaders and supervisors to identify improvement opportunities and implement solutions.

• Support the development and maintenance of Lean performance metrics and improvement documents.

• Participate in and support Kaizen initiatives and structured problem-solving projects.

• Assist in the development of Lean training materials and conduct training sessions as needed.

• Utilize MS Office Suite and Power BI to track and analyze Lean initiatives.

• Report on project status and improvement opportunities, ensuring issues are addressed.

• Ensure adherence to safety and operational standards while promoting Lean principles.

2/Senior Lean Development Specialist (For Dau Giay side)

• Lead and coordinate Lean initiatives such as 5S, LPA/LQA, and WAR Room activities.

• Drive continuous improvement projects, identifying and eliminating process inefficiencies and waste.

• Establish and maintain Lean performance metrics, ensuring teams meet and exceed department KPIs.

• Conduct audits and assessments to monitor Lean implementation effectiveness and provide recommendations.

• Facilitate and lead Kaizen initiatives, engaging cross-functional teams in structured problem-solving activities.

• Develop and deliver Lean training programs and course materials to enhance team capabilities.

• Mentor and coach team leaders, specialists, and stakeholders in applying Lean principles effectively.

• Utilize MS Office Suite and Power BI to analyze data, generate reports, and provide insights for continuous improvement.

• Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and quality teams to integrate Lean methodologies.

• Ensure all activities align with safety standards, operational efficiency, and corporate objectives.

Education
Bachelors Degree
Experience
• Lean experience is preferred but not required for Specialist. Minimum 2 years of experience in Lean development, continuous improvement, or process optimization for Senior Specialist

• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); Power BI experience is a plus.

• Excellent English proficiency (fluent, oral, and written).

• Minimum IELTS score of 5.5+ in English.
