This position is responsible for taking full ownership of SMT manufacturing, including: processes, programming, scheduling, employee supervision and development. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated leader capable of achieving manufacturing objectives by providing leadership and direction on the daily production activities, managing resources, minimizing production downtime, ensuring all quality standards and provides engineering support to engineers in order to maximize the effectiveness of the department. In addition, this role manages the department budget, distributes work load, establishes goals and monitors employee performance.
Duties:
Manages the electronics production department, including: human resources, machinery, engineering and workshop production activities.
Manages and assigns projects, coordinating daily workshop production activities to meet production and quality requirements. Provides leadership, direction, and support to the department.
Develops and coordinates the NPI (New Product Introduction) process to ensure issues are well-communicated and solutions are followed up, facilitating a smooth and successful transfer between Engineering and Production.
Collaborates with machine and equipment suppliers to negotiate prices and improve their products and services, aiming to enhance quality and lower costs.
Manages the department budget and is responsible for overseeing and controlling department purchasing.
Trains personnel to enhance their knowledge and skills in areas such as IPC, statistics, Design of Experiments (DoE), and process control.
Builds relationships and fosters teamwork, creating a culture of personal responsibility and continuous improvement within the department and throughout the organization.
Supports the analysis of problems/issues in the production process and manages their solutions.
Prepares and submits monthly operational performance KPI reports.
Plans and implements improvements in machinery, processes, and operations to enhance machine performance and workforce efficiency.
Manages the production reporting process, providing guidance and validating all production reports to ensure data accuracy, accurate reflection of actual manufacturing performance, and timely delivery.
Performs other duties and special tasks assigned by senior management and the BOD to achieve company and departmental objectives.
Yêu Cầu Công Việc
1. Education: University/College degree in a technical field (e.g., Electrical-Electronic, Industrial, Mechanical).
2. Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with specific experience in Production management and the SMT field.
3. Technical Skills & Knowledge:
Solid understanding of Electronics manufacturing standards.
Knowledge of 6S, Lean/Kaizen, and ISO systems.
Proficient in computer use (advanced level).
4. Soft Skills & Abilities:
Strong leadership skills and a proven ability to be a team player, supporting team goals and objectives.
Excellent problem-solving, logical thinking, and creative thinking skills.
Good time management.
5. Language: Good English proficiency in both speaking and writing.
