JOB SUMMARY
The International Marketing and Advertising Manager is an integral member of the team that must deliver to the company objectives with specific emphasis on aiding the development of successful multi-channel marketing programs for each international market. This role would require the candidate to both coach & consult on Traditional & Digital strategies with the Licensee that drive traffic to their Stores & Websites.
Ashley Has stores in 65 countries, given this large diversity of countries and time zones, there is an expectation that the work hours for this role is flexible and the candidate is willing to take late night meetings with licensees (when needed) in order to cater to their local time zone. This position is also involved with aiding the developing of the licensee's retail promotion calendar and multi-channel marketing strategies to meet both store and website traffic, sales/revenue, sales per guest (SPG) and growth objectives. All the while leading and influencing multiple constituents, such as licensees, internal departmental partners and peers, with a high degree of communication and insight with tactical execution.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Collaborate with Licensees to establish a comprehensive marketing promotions calendar for each international territory in order to achieve the organization’s annual multi-channel marketing plan and aligns separate but related constituents and business goals into a singular marketing platform and brand message.
Have a passion for Cultural diversity and be able to think about Marketing/Advertisement from their local perspectives. Not all strategies work the same across every country.
Collaborate with leadership on the alignment of annual and quarterly Company goals of store and website traffic, sales, online site traffic, mattress sales and overall market growth, by country.
Drive traffic to Stores & eCommerce Websites through a promotional calendar for each global market.
Aid in developing and deploying an aggressive curated offer and event promotion to licensees based on local trends.
Develop a mattress promotion plan and market penetration strategy.
Develop new and innovative ways to leverage financing as a traffic driver where possible in each foreign market.
Collaborate with marketing counterparts including ecommerce, merchandising, creative, store operations, licensees, etc., to develop best in class marketing promotions, strategies and tactics.
Influence and lead non-direct reports and stakeholders in the development and execution of a cohesive marketing promotions plan.
Have the ability to leverage Google Analytics to provide weekly eCommerce traffic reporting; identify and make recommendations for growth opportunities.
Lead retailers to provide detailed measurement and reporting on store and website traffic and sales, while identifying and recommending changes to improve effectiveness.
Develop first-hand knowledge of market dynamics, competitors and opportunities by communicating with each market, identifying business potential and corresponding marketing programs.
Develop consistent global market competitive analysis and reporting. Provide real-time recommendations to address market promotions opportunities.
Collaborate and communicate with retailers and agencies to execute marketing and advertising trend analysis, monitoring and competitive benchmarking, as appropriate.
Collaborate with a variety of internal teams to identify and socialize market trends and dynamics to develop corresponding marketing programs.

1. Education
Bachelor Degree in Advertising, Business Administration, Marketing or related field, or equivalent work experience, required
2. Experience
5 years’ experience managing a field marketing operation, Required
Experience in a B2C marketing and/or advertising function in a high volume, big[1]box, multi-retail store, preferably in furniture, Required.
Have strong retail & e-commerce experience with driving traffic to stores & websites.
Supervisory/Management experience required

Experience with Digital - i.e SEO, SEM, Email Marketing, Social Media (paid & organic)
Experience with Traditional - i.e TV, Print, Radio
Experience with Excel & Writing formulas for enhanced reporting
