Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Sales/Business Development Executive to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for selling rice in bulk, primarily from port (containerized cargo), buyers in Vietnam. You will also build and nurture relationships with rice distributors and importers while staying updated on the latest local market developments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Bulk Rice Sales: Sell rice in bulk, primarily from port (containerized cargo) to local buyers and importers across Vietnam.
  • Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with rice distributors and importers to increase market share.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay updated on the local market trends, price fluctuations, and industry developments to provide valuable insights to buyers and management.
  • Regular updates to buyers: Create and maintain a system for regularly distributing updated price lists to potential buyers.
  • Customer Outreach: Proactively identify and engage with potential customers through targeted outreach and networking activities.
  • Reporting: Provide regular sales reports, and market feedback to management.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the logistics and supply chain teams to ensure timely and efficient delivery of rice to customers.
  • Be responsible for AR of all local port sales.

Yêu Cầu Công Việc

  • Proven experience in sales, business development, or trading in the agriculture sector, preferably in rice.
  • Strong knowledge of the Vietnam rice market, including key buyers, competitors, and market dynamics.
  • Excellent relationship-building skills with the ability to manage key accounts and maintain long-term partnerships.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to travel regularly to Mekong delta area and other key locations as needed.
  • Proficiency in Vietnamese and English is preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Agriculture, or a related field is a plus.
