The IT Support Specialist is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of IT systems across both office and retail. This role involves providing technical support, managing IT equipment, maintaining network stability, and collaborating with the headquarters IT department
KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
General IT Responsibilities:
● Identify IT risks and propose solutions to the direct manager.
● Conduct periodic store visits to monitor IT equipment and provide on-site support and training to staff. Guide proper device operation as needed.
● Manage IT equipment inventory across all locations.
● Develop and document IT support processes.
● Maintain and monitor computer systems and networks.
● Provide daily IT support to office staff and retail stores, addressing technical issues promptly and effectively.
● Collaborate with all departments to assist with their technical requirements, with the headquarters IT department to align IT systems and facilitate information sharing.
● Receive updates on new store openings from the Retail department and create timelines for IT system setup (hardware and software).
● Ensure stable computer operation in retail stores with remote management capabilities.
● Manage equipment upgrades or recalls during store renovations or contract terminations.
● Monitor all IT equipment, network systems, and the server room to ensure stable operation for office staff.
● Manage IT system upgrades to support business expansion.
● Collaborate closely with the headquarters IT department for information exchange and project execution.
● Track and manage IT devices at showrooms and provide IT support for events held there.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in IT or related field, relevant certifications.
- A basic understanding of networking, with a certain level of knowledge of the TCP/IP seven-layer protocol
- Proven experience in IT support, preferably in a multi-mode environment (office and retail experience a plus).
- Strong understanding of computer hardware, software, networking, and operating systems (POS systems, Wifi/LAN, Camera, Domain, e.g.,)
- Specific software or hardware knowledge required (NAS, Odo, ERP, e.g.,)
- Experience with remote management tools.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good at communicating in English
