This position will play a crucial role in identifying and evaluating potential locations for new stores. This individual will work closely with the Real Estate Manager and various cross-functional teams to ensure strategic site selection aligned with Starbucks' growth objectives and brand standards.
Key Responsibilities:
· Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify potential locations for expansion, considering factors such as demographics, competition, and market trends.
· Location Scouting: Actively collaborate with real estate brokers, landlords, and developers to source suitable properties that align with our expansion objectives, taking into account zoning regulations and other legal requirements.
· Reporting & Site Assessment: Prepare detailed reports and comprehensive site evaluation presentations to outline findings, including market assessments, site evaluations, and risk assessments for approval by senior management.
· Contract Negotiation: Collaborate with real estate brokers, landlords, and other stakeholders to negotiate lease and purchase agreements, ensuring favorable terms for the company.
· Site Due Diligence & Compliance: Manage the due diligence process for selected sites, including feasibility studies, environmental assessments, and permitting requirements to ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations throughout the site expansion process.
· Project Coordination: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including real estate, legal, and construction departments, to facilitate the site expansion process from concept to completion.
· Support the direct reporting manager in other duties and special projects as assigned.
