Overview and Responsibilities:
This position is responsible for overseeing the human resource function for the property. Provides a wide variety of HR generalist services.
Responsible for the smooth and efficient running of the HR Department, recruitment and caring of grievances from staff, for the input, update and maintenance of personal data of all employees (permanent, part-time, and temporary on the computer, register all new employees with the Labor Department, Health&Social Insurance, process of local staff status change according to the policy, providing timely management reports on manpower, payroll, turn over statistics, conducting training programs to staff, planning training programs to staff.
1. Administration: formulate and administer the HR policy and procedures within the company, prepare budget for capex, administrative, training, employee relations, welfare and clinic requirements for administration, staff development and enhancement of staff morale.
2. Filing & record management: responsible for the proper maintenance of all employee’s files, maintain and upkeep all leave records of all employees to ensure that all leaves are promptly cleared
3. Induction & orientation: ensure that induction and orientation for new employees are properly carried out.
4. Staff welfare: maintain and enhance the staff welfare to ensure high morale amongst the employees.
5. Performance appraisal: coordinate the annual employees appraised and management development review for management staff
6. Staff recognition & participation: develop and implement staff motivation, recognition and participation program for the company. Strong in building company culture
7. Recruitment/Retention: Supports the recruitment and retention process for the property. Ensures fair hiring practices including consistent completion of all new-hire paperwork. Assists with recognition programs that reward and motivate team members, and assists in administering and following up with Team Member Satisfaction Survey.
8. Plan & conduct orientation for new employees of the company and re-orientation for the old employees
9. Ensure that employee’s grievances are handled efficiently according to policies & procedure & labor laws of Vietnam
10. Perform any and all other assignments as directed by the Management.
11. Perform as “Manager on Duty” when assigned.
The employee also follow the Ascott Management: EHS (Environment – Health – Safety)
1. Qualifications: University graduated
2. Experience: Minimum 2 years experience in hospitality with the position of HR Manager / 4 years experiences of HR Senior Executive/ Assitant HR Manager
3. Competencies:
- Knowledgeable in all Labor Code, Vietnam Law.
- Familiar with insurances
- Computer skills in Word, Excel, Power Point
- Good English writing, speaking
- Be able to achieve HR targets
- Good management skills
4. Personal attributes:
- Ability to perform well under pressure and stress
- Pleasant, honest, hardworking and flexible personality; team player
- Ability to receive as well as deliver constructive criticism
